So here is the thing. Is this really as bad as I make it out to be? Probably not. But I think this movie is an example of when directors try to do more that they are capable. I read this on WIKI

Notably, this depiction of Lex Luthor, rather than being the cold, calculating industrialist portrayed in Superman: The Animated Series, seems to incorporate elements of Gene Hackman's less serious portrayals of the character in live-action movies, making Luthor more light-hearted and darkly whimisical, going as far as to make jokes about the situations around him.

I really hated this Luthor. Not in a good way. The above explains why. I was a big Bruce Timm fan. This movie tries to be true to the Bruce Timms years, yet changes a few things. Later movies reinvented the franchise. Similarly the Live Action Superman Returns failed trying to copy Christopher Reeves. Man of Steel developed an all new arc. Otherwise we expect too much of the familiar. 

If you have not been a fan of the 1990 Adventures and 2000 Justice League TV series you will probably like it... Otherwise NOT FOR ME....

Superman: Brainiac Attacks is a 2006 direct-to-video animated film with production designs based on Superman: The Animated Series from Warner Bros. Animation, on aired a part of the Toonami block on Saturday June 17, 2006, and the released on DVD Tuesday June 20, 2006. It also aired on Toon Disney on June 16, 2008, being the first Superman film to air on Toon Disney. The film features Superman battling the forces of Lex Luthor and Brainiac. It also focuses on the relationship between Superman andLois Lane.

Though the film's visual style is the same as Superman: The Animated Series (as are the majority of its returning voice cast), it is not in continuity with the DC animated universe.^[1] Superman: TAS alumniTim Daly and Dana Delany are reunited to play the characters of Superman and Lois Lane. Stamp Day for Superman 1954 Short Film

Stamp Day for Superman is a 1954 black-and-white short film starring George Reeves as Superman and Noel Neill as Lois Lane. It was produced by Superman Inc. for the United States Department of the Treasury to promote the purchase of U.S. Savings Bonds. Never shown theatrically, it was distributed to schools as a means of educating children about the program.

Due to its nature as a government film, Stamp Day for Superman is in thepublic domain and can often be found on inexpensive DVD sets. Warner Bros. also released the film as part of the Adventures of Superman Season 2 DVD set.

Clark Kent and Lois Lane, out for a stroll, discover a jewelry robbery in progress. Lois gets a good look at one of the burglars. Later Clark and Jimmy Olsen visit Jimmy's old school to discuss Superman's visit there to promote the U.S. Treasury Department's Savings Stamp program. In the meantime, Lois is captured by Blinky, the jewelry burglar she spotted. When Lois doesn't show up to join Clark and Jimmy, Clark realizes she's in trouble and arranges for Superman to save the day and still make his appearance at the school's Stamp Day.

1974 Wonder Woman TV Movie / Pilot AND 1967 Mini Pilot

OK, I just had to comment LOL

Doing some research I stumbled across this (COUGH) gem which can be seen on YOUTUBE.

Cathy Lee Crosby starred in this fiasco. As with so many TV versions fo Superhero TV shows on a budget, we have way too much talking created by second rate writers. No need to waste too much time on a Pilot never picked up to a series. You can tell in the first few seconds why the Linda Carter version is remembered in its stead...

Basically this 74 minute pilot can be summed up this way. Wonder Woman and another Amazon fight with the worst stick fight of on camera history over a burro. What an ass wrote this? And by stick fight, it almost feels like a parody movie of a pillow fight. No stunt doubles required in this "film".

"WHY GEORGE" WHY GEORGE INDEED?



While on the subject of failed ideas, if you have not seen this terrible idea for a 19060 Batman style comic adaptation, you really must see for yourself....
SHORT REVIEW this 5-minute "PILOT" is more of bad off-Broadway play trying to squeeze in every bad Jewish Mother joke....
